Health Promotion and your Operational Support Team are here to provide classes on being your Best S.E.L.F. – Shape Up – Eat Right – Live Well – Fit to Fight. These classes are to help learn great habits, set goals, and achieve a daily lifestyle that you feel good about.
These courses are geared towards our Airmen who are in the high-risk category for the abdominal circumference measurement. This measurement is taken on the birth month of the Airmen, separate from the physical fitness test, and focuses on body composition. Best S.E.L.F. will help educate and empower our Airmen to decrease their abdominal circumference with changes for life, not just to meet the standard.
Best S.E.L.F. – Nutrition (60 min)

Formerly known as Better Body Better Life (BBBL), this class covers the fundamental concepts of nutrition:
- Micro and Macro nutrients (Carbs, Proteins, Fats)
- Sugar and Fiber
- Tips and other topics that affect nutrition and your body
This class qualifies for the Healthy Weight portion of the Fitness Improvement Program (FIP).

Best S.E.L.F. – Exercise (60 min)

Join us for a comprehensive class on the importance of exercise to decrease health risks. We will learn the science of exercise physiology, increasing mobility, and building resistance and cardio programs.
